YLF was established in 1980 as a distributor of confectionery products and beverages in Singapore. It has
represented many global brands from USA, Europe and Asian regions. In 1992, YLF established its
manufacturing facilities in the state of Johor, Malaysia. Since then, YLF has made much progress with its
local distribution and manufacturing capabilities and has attained ISO 9002 certification in 1999. YLF
achieved and has been granted HACCP certification since 2003. |
In 2002, YLF ventured into exporting its proven products to the global market. Brands belonging to the
YLF group of companies include Pikin, Beardy, Flash, Venico, Catti and Skisser. YLF is currently being engaged to
produce items under license and private labels for some of its bigger customers. |
The DRD department handles product development from conceptual ideas
to finished items. Requirements from local customers and worldwide clients are
developed to their final products through a stringent process starting from ingredient
formulation and packing design to candy production and shipment. |
YLF uses the latest possible technology and machinery in its manufacturing
facilities. Stringent checks at critical points of the manufacturing process are in place to allow YLF to
consistently manufacture candies of the highest quality and food safety. |
